If you feel you already know the material in some of the courses required for a certificate, you can write a Challenge Exam to receive credit for the course(s).  To earn a Certificate from the CAD Correspondence Institute, you must enroll in and obtain at least a ' C ' grade in the minimum number of required courses.  

     Only one of the two required courses for the AutoCAD Operator Certificate can be challenged.
     Only two of the four required courses for the AutoCAD Manager Certificate can be challenged.
     Only one of the two required courses for the Autodesk Inventor Certificate can be challenged.

The fee to write a Challenge Exam is as follows:

You will be required to find an Invigilator to supervise while you write the exam. Our website outlines the criteria for the Invigilator and information you are required to submit. Once your Invigilator is approved, the exam will be sent to your him/her by e-mail. Your Invigilator does not need to know how to use AutoCAD (or Inventor).
